Are you interested in what’s happening with developments in Downtown Detroit? If so, the Downtown Detroit Partnership recently released a new interactive map that makes it possible for anyone to follow what’s happening with developments in the Downtown area in real time.
Although the map is still considered to be in its early stages of development, it’s a great resource for anyone who is interested in what’s happening with the redevelopment of Downtown Detroit.
How To Use The Map

Depending on your internet connection speed it may take a few seconds for the map to load. Once it does, you will be able to see the completed projects in green, current projects are highlighted in blue while upcoming projects are colored in orange.
Get A 3D View Of Downtown Detroit Developments
Besides being able to click and drag the map in either direction, users can also view specific buildings for detailed information including projects that are slated for completion like the MarxModa building, Shinola Hotel, Church of Scientology and the Element Detroit Hotel.
What’ great about this map is that users can also enjoy a “bird’s eye view” of every major development in Downtown like the City Modern and the site of the Brewster Douglass redevelopment which is projected to have over 900 units and cost more than $300 million.
