Detroit’s $200 Million Development Is Underway.
The District Detroit recently announced $200 million worth of investment. This is the second phase of its development. It aims to restore historic buildings and construct new mixed-use buildings near Little Caesars Arena. The said investment will offer more than 70,000 square feet of retail space and 400,000 square feet of office space.

The District Detroit also mentioned ongoing feasibility studies on redevelopment into residential and retail space and for more hotel and entertainment developments.

Real estate industry professionals from around the world gathered in Detroit for the Urban Land Institute’s annual Spring Meeting this May 1 to 3, 2018. This event is the first major ULI assembly in Detroit, in 40 years.
